What is my puk code?
To obtain your PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) code, you have several options depending on your mobile network provider and the information you have available.
From the SIM Card Packaging
If you still have the packaging that your SIM card came in, the PUK code is usually printed on the back of the plastic card that the SIM was snapped out of, along with the SIM PIN code324.
Online Account
You can log into your mobile carrier's online account to find your PUK code. Here are specific steps for some providers:
- O2: Log into your O2 account, navigate to 'My device' and then 'Device details'2.
- EE: Log in or register for My EE, select ‘Manage device’, scroll down to ‘Unblock SIM (PUK code)’, and select ‘Show PUK code’1.
- Tesco Mobile: Log into your My Tesco Mobile App and look under Personal Details2.
- AT&T: Sign in to Troubleshoot & Resolve, select the device that needs the PUK code, go to ‘My devices & add-ons’, choose the device, and select ‘Get your PIN unlock key (PUK)’4.
